Made this the other night and it turned out great. I toasted some pumpernickel bread and placed it on top of the soup and then covered that with a sharp white cheddar cheese. Broiled it for a few minutes to melt the cheese and it turned out awesome. I agree with the other reviewer that it is heavy on the sodium, but it was still good. I bought a couple of other varieties to try also and hoping for the same experience.

My friend recommended this soup to me and before I bought it I read these reviews. I had to come back and say that I agree this soup is VERY good. My husband is the cook in the family so I was excited to have something new and simple to try. This was very easy but it didn't taste like something that was easy to make. I put 1 1/2 large onions in the soup since most reviews recommended more than 1 and it was perfect for me. I can't wait to try their other soups.
