I miss my old dustbuster. We've had this one now for over a month. The suction is not nearly as strong as earlier models. The filter cleaner on the side of the unit is worthless and barely improves suction. The conical filter is small, meaning a smaller surface area, less area for air flow, and I think it's a flaw in the overall design. It works, but just not well. Be sure to clean the filter at least every couple of days in order to maintain maximum suction. I enjoyed using my old dustbuster, but this one is just a bore to use. I won't be sad when this one breaks and I can get a different one. Til then, we're stuck with it. Save your cash from this one.

We have always been happy with our dustbusters until we bought this one. It takes a muscle man to turn it off and on. It doesn't pick up tiny pebbles that get in the car carpet so it is not much use cleaning the car. The charge runs out pretty quickly. I definitely would not recommend this one and am shopping around now for a replacement.

I have had the product for 2 years and the battery runs at full speed for the first ten seconds then the blower slows down significantly and run time is short. I looked at Black and Decker and other online shopping options and it will cost $38 to replace the battery!

I'm going to just replace this Dustbuster but be more careful about reading the reviews to see if I can avoid this problem in my purchase.

I strongly do not recommend this product.
